Michael Paras

Mike Paras is the Head of Business Development and Partnerships at SAE International, promoting sustainability within their Mobility Solutions practice.

As part of his role with SAE International, Michael develops collaborative relationships in the corporate, government, and academic domains to generate pioneering technical research products and training programs that benefit SAE's global members. These efforts are complemented by close collaboration with SAE’s Government Affairs team on projects linking up the US Departments of Transportation and Energy. Michael is a force to be reckoned with in the sales arena, coming from SAE's sales organization where he held sway over the corporate automotive and technology portfolio. Before his time at SAE International, Michael spent 10 years honing his business development and sales skills within the private sector. Alongside this impressive expertise, Michael also brings an educational perspective to SAE as a graduate of Penn State University majoring in English Literature and History.
